This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which ActorsThrive collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) the website and mobile website and mobile app (“Applications”). This privacy policy applies to the ActorsThrive Applications and all products and services offered by ActorsThrive.

Special Notice To Job Candidates

There are practical considerations relating to the need for Companies and Employers to review certain personal information and to contact Candidate for employment purposes. By registering and creating a personal or represented profile (“Profile”) which will be accessible on the ActorsThrive Applications, you understand that you are affirmatively choosing to provide and post personal information about yourself including, but not limited to, images, video, audio, your real name, education and employment history, skills, and email address. You further acknowledge and agree that such personal information may be accessible to other registered members of the ActorsThrive Applications, who may be able to personally identify and locate you, and that you are aware of any and all risks inherent in so doing. Your information may also be viewable outside of the ActorsThrive Applications via web search engines, which are outside of our control.

Special Notice To Employers

Likewise, there are practical considerations to the need for job Candidates to review information about your company and to contact you for employment purposes. By registering and creating a job profile or represented profile (“Profile”) which will be accessible on the ActorsThrive Applications, you understand that you are affirmatively choosing to provide and post information about your company including but not limited to job specifications, company information and email address. You further acknowledge and agree that such information may be accessible to other registered members of the ActorsThrive Applications, who may be able to personally identify and locate you, and that you are aware of any and all risks inherent in so doing. Your information may also be viewable outside of the ActorsThrive applications via web search engines, which are outside of our control.

Special Note About Minors

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 (“Minors”), nor do we allow users under the age of 18, or the age of majority as that is defined in your jurisdiction, to directly establish Profiles on the ActorsThrive Applications. As explained further in our Terms and Conditions, Users must be of legal working age within their country, state and city of residence. If we become aware that an account has been established for or by a Minor, we will take steps to terminate the account and remove any corresponding information.

Personal Identification Information

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our Applications, register on the ActorsThrive Applications, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Applications. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number. Users may, however, visit our Applications anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain ActorsThrive Applications related activities.

For security purposes, we ask that you do not enter financial information into your Job or Resume Profile except in the fields provided for that information and advise that you do not put sensitive information such as social security numbers, national identification numbers, or any state, or other local identification numbers in any Profile or on any document posted online.

Non-personal Identification Information

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Applications. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Applications, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

Mobile Information

We may collect additional information from you if you access the ActorsThrive Applications through a mobile device such as you device’s unique identifier, operating system, or mobile carrier. We may also collect your location or GPS/Geo-location if you opt-in for us to do so.

Web Browser Cookies

Our Applications may use “cookies” to enhance User experience. User’s web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Applications may not function properly.

How We Use Collected Information

ActorsThrive may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:

  • To allow you to register for an account and create a Profile

All User Profiles require specific information in order to best serve the User.

  • To improve customer service and respond to your requests

Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.

  • To personalize user experience and improve our services

We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Applications.

  • To process payments and internal business use

We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.

  • To run a promotion, contest, survey or other Applications features

To send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them.

  • To send periodic emails

We may use the email address to send them information and updates pertaining to their order, and our periodical newsletter. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

Notice Regarding Geo-location Functionality

Information gathered from your use of the ActorsThrive applications may be combined with information from third party sources to identify your location by state and region. More specific information about your geographic location may be collected for some of our mobile ActorsThrive applications, which have search functionality to enable you to opt in to our collecting information about your precise location (“Geo-location”). If you agree to have your Geo-location collected, we will only maintain your Geo-location information to facilitate your search and display of advertisers. In addition, when you have GPS/Geo-location software running on your Device, we may collect that information as controlled by the privacy settings on your Device.

How We Protect Your Information

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Applications.

Sensitive and private data exchange between the Applications and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.

Special Notice To Employers and Advertisers

All billing address information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above.

We utilize the PayPal IPN for all acceptance of payment. Payment/credit card information is completed and maintained through the PayPal website, mobile and payment application as they are PCI-DSS compliant with vulnerability standards in order to create as secure of an environment as possible for Users. The use of the above PayPal services are outside of our control and not covered by this Privacy Policy. Please refer to their privacy policy.

Sharing Your Personal Information

Users agree that when posting information on the Applications, when completing and submitting contact forms, or communicating via email link they are openly sharing their information with other users.

We do not sell, trade, rent or otherwise transfer to outside parties User personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. The term “outside parties” does not include It also does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website and mobile site or app, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety.

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Third Party Websites

Users may find advertising or other content on our Applications that link to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Applications. In addition, these sites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing and not covered by this Privacy Policy. We do not endorse and are not in any way responsible for the privacy policies, content, and/or practices of such third party sites. These sites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Applications, is subject to that website’s own terms and policies. You should review the privacy policy of all third party sites so you can understand how they collect, use, store, transfer, or share your personal information.

Opting Out of Promotional Messages

To opt-out of our promotional messages and newsletter, you may:

Updating Your Profile Information

To update your Profile information, log in to your account and click on the “My Dashboard” or you may contact us.

Cancelling Your Account

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us.

Deactivation or Deletion of Your Profile/Account

You may request that we deactivate or delete your Profile by contacting us. You may also delete or hide your Resume or delete or mark filled your Job posting by logging into your account and clicking My Dashboard. Your Profile and history will no longer be available to you or visible to Users of the ActorsThrive Applications if you request that your account be cancelled or deleted. However, we are unable to delete information, including your personal information, from the systems of other ActorsThrive Applications Users that have previously accessed your Profile. We will try to comply with your requests as soon as possible but changes requested of us may not be effective immediately. When you deactivate your account or ask that we delete your Profile on the ActorsThrive Applications we will retain logs and non-personally identifiable information about you along with an archival copy of your information, which is not accessible by you or third parties on the ActorsThrive Applications but which might be used by us for recordkeeping and internal purposes, including enforcing our Terms and Conditions and demographic, reporting and research purposes.


If you choose to visit the ActorsThrive Applications, any dispute over privacy is subject to this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions including limitations on damages, resolution of disputes, and application of the laws.

No Rights of Third Parties

This Privacy Policy does not create rights enforceable by third parties or require disclosure of any personal information relating to users of the ActorsThrive Applications.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

ActorsThrive has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will post an updated version to this Web page. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
